Thank you Kim, your writing always makes me pause and think. This story and your thoughts helped me take a moment to ask myself, "what within me needs a little more light?" This is a much kinder way to approach our overgrown garden, which sometimes can be filled with the tangle of self-doubt, fear or sadness. Instead if we leave enough room for beauty, joy, happiness and gratitude, then each part of ourselves can grow into the sunlight of our awareness.

Anne, I love how you've expressed this. It feels as though this question changes everything, doesn't it? Instead of meeting ourselves with self-doubt, fear, or sadness, we begin with kindness and curiosity.

Your words about leaving enough room for beauty, joy, happiness, and gratitude to grow into the sunlight of our awareness are so beautiful. That's exactly the hope behind Vine's story, that when we make space for what nourishes us, we discover there has been something reaching for the light within us all along.

Thank you for reading with such an open heart. It always feels like we're continuing the conversation together. 💛✨

Yes you are right it does. We often forget to make space for the things that nourish us when we are caught in our worries and fears, but all our experiences can grow together beautifully, like the ivy and the rose, if we provide room for it all.

"Little by little, we discover that joy and sorrow need not compete for the same piece of sky. Both can belong when each is given enough light."

So beautifully expressed. 🌷

It's always wonderful to continue the conversation with you. Much gratitude. ✨

This story of Ivy had me transfixed and I realised that there was inner understanding of where I am in my growth journey. Trying to persuade and cajole when my tropisms need to be free. Thank you for this magical read Kim.

Julia, this is such a beautiful reflection. 💛 I was especially moved by your realization that "my tropisms need to be free." It feels like such a gentle and important truth to discover about yourself.

I know you've been listening carefully to your own journey for some time now, and it feels as though Vine simply held up a mirror at just the right moment. Those quiet moments of recognition can change so much.

Thank you for sharing this with me. I hope this realization helps you find enough light for everything beautiful within you to flourish, and enough courage to keep reaching for the sky. ✨
